Call for Abstracts
The call-for-abstracts is now closed. We received a fantastic number of abstract submissions this year! Thank you to all of our authors who have submitted an abstract for consideration. Notifications will be sent in late May.
The American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) invites you to share the results of your research and contribute to the excellence of its 35th Annual Meeting by submitting a scientific abstract to the official ASHT collection site.
Submitting a scientific abstract to the ASHT 35th Annual Meeting means that it will be peer reviewed and may be accepted for an oral presentation or poster presentation. Additionally, a select number of top scoring abstracts will be published in Journal of Hand Therapy, the official Journal of the ASHT.
Note: You may submit as many abstracts as you wish. ASHT welcomes abstracts previously submitted to other meetings.
Abstract Categories Include:
- Arthritis and joint pain
- Peripheral nerve
- CNS disorders
- Tissue healing and pain management
- Tendon injury
- Pediatrics and congenital differences
- Assessment and outcomes measures
- Miscellaneous
Submitting an Abstract:

ASHT makes submitting your abstract easy. Simply type or copy/paste your abstract online and submit it through the online submission site. Please note: there are no paper submissions.
Abstract Format:
The following information is required for each ASHT abstract submission.

- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
The following criteria must be identified:
- Level of Evidence
- Research Design
- Sample Size
